Who's the WHU player that hated Antonio from the moment Antonio joined?

On the BBC podcast with Antonio and Callum Wilson, Antonio mentions that on the first day he joined one of the squad said to him "what's your position?" and then "so you're here to take my place then?" and then absolutely hated Antonio and barely spoke to him until the day that the unnamed player left the club a year or two later.
Has anyone seen this story before? Who is it or do we think it is? He joined us as a right winger didn't he? So who was right wing at the time and subsequently left the club?

Well, it depends on what position they told Antonio he was signed to play i guess, seen as he seemed to be more of a wide man or attacking midfielder than an out and out striker at that point.
Can't see it being Payet or Carroll. I don't think either of them would have felt threatened.

So, if we assume from the clues:
- It's a player who had been at West Ham for a while before Antonio arrived (i.e. felt that they had a place in the team)
- Left a year or two later
- Is an attacking player
Then from the squad at the time Sakho or Valencia look like the most likely candidates. Carrol if you extend the left a year or two later quite considerably, Zarate if you reduce it to half a season. Joey O'Brien if Antonio thought he was being brought in as a right back!
